1/22/10 Cange, Haiti - Doctors made their rounds through the converted church, which housed about fifty patients. Partners in Health operates a huge community based healthcare system in Haiti, and many of it clinics and hospitals, such as their flagship hospital in Cange, have been flooded with victims of last week's tremendous earthquake that leveled Port-au-Prince. In fact, the church and the school on the hospital campus have been turned into patient wards. On Friday, January 22, 2010, nearly a dozen doctors, many of them from the United States, made rounds in the converted church sanctuary. Story by Stephen Smith/Globe Staff. Dina Rudick/Globe Staff.
