Haiti - earthquake 2010 - Dina
1/19/10 Port au Prince, Haiti - Dr. Lynn Black, cq, ventured outside the hospital to talk with the dozens of people gathered at the razor wire in hopes of receiving supplies. They told her that things were very bad in Tent City, and that the people had no food or water. She explained that she had very little power, and was looking for answeres herself, but she vowed to look into the situation to see if she could do anything. Two hours later, she convinced a group of doctors to set up a treatment table in the triage area. There were extensive delays and numerous staff meetigns into midday on Monday, January 19, 2010 at the DMAT and IMSuRT hospital, but many patients were still being seen and treated by doctors and nurses, and prepped for surgery.
